About William Farris

Currently working as an associate engineer at Ball Aerospace in the mission assurance department. Graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Worked as an engineering intern with SpaceX Launch on the Starhopper and Starship projects, primarily doing weld tensile strength testing. Mechanically inclined with experience working on oil field compressor engines involving: deconstruction, small and large scale sandblasting, reconstruction, priming and painting. Work Experience includes an internship with SpawGlass Contractors where I worked closely with a Project Manager on several large projects. More recently I interned in the Texas A&M IT Policy Department where I contributed to the drafting and modification of an online controls catalog to serve as a resource for all Texas A&M employees. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, VBA programming in excel, and process improvement knowledge from coursework. Exceptional leadership and teamwork ability.
