About William Flood

Over the years of working with data, I have had hands on experience with implementing many of the industry leading tools related to database management systems, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, ETL, Metadata Management and Business Intelligence. I have specialized in developing and maintaining high performance solutions and applications. I have used many database tools including SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle, MongoDB and Hadoop. My Data Warehousing experience includes using the Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality tools. As companies need for cleaner, more reliable data grew, I implemented a Master Data Management environment along with its infrastructure. As the usage of these tools grew, I continue to optimized the environment to be as efficient as possible. This resulted in faster processing time while limiting the need for license and hardware expenditures. I have implemented a number of additional tools in the business intelligence field including Enterprise Data Catalog, Data Validator Option (DVO), Big Data Edition and Enterprise Data Lake on both Linux and Windows servers.
