About William Flores

With over nine years of experience in community development and education, I am passionate about empowering students and families through literacy and learning. As a Senior Literacy Lead at Reading Partners, I oversee the coordination and operations of tutoring programs that provide individualized instruction and support to students in low-income communities. I am committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for students, tutors, and school staff, and to fostering positive relationships and collaboration among them.In my current role, I also provide direct tutoring to students, using Reading Partners' online platform and curriculum. I leverage my skills in social networking, communication, and mentoring to engage and motivate students in their learning journey. I also manage student and tutor data records, and track student progress and outcomes. Additionally, I provide technical support to students and volunteers when using the online tutoring program, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. I enjoy being part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students and families.
