About William Friedman

Will is a member of the KPMG Deals team in New York City. He provides buy- and sell-side financial due diligence assistance to help strategics and financial sponsors evaluate target companies and make informed investment decisions. In developing an independent, unbiased view of the target’s historical financial performance, he will provide findings to assist in negotiating the purchase price and transaction agreement, data to facilitate building the valuation model, and reporting that can easily be shared with lenders. Will identifies EBITDA adjustments; composes quality of earnings reports; examines net working capital and net debt; evaluates financial model feasibility; and inquires senior management about business practices, performance, and market analysis. Will graduated with a degree in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross, where he also played varsity lacrosse and volunteered as a youth mentor at the Canterbury School in Worcester, MA. He is a licensed CPA in the State of New York.
