About William Gerdts

I am a Senior Vice President | Investments of Gerdts Investment Group of Raymond James. With over 40 years of experience in Private Wealth Management, I utilize fundamental analysis coupled with a long-term value investing strategy that I have developed over four decades to create custom portfolios for each client based on their individual needs and financial goals. I am among a select group of Financial Advisors who are entrusted to manage client portfolios with discretionary authority. I specialize in discretionary portfolio management and advisory services for individuals, families, trusts, and businesses Reading is a large part of my daily life and career. I spend most of my time doing research, reading reports, listening to conference calls and reviewing transcripts of past conference calls. In college I played water polo at SJSU and was a 2x NCAA All American (1968,1969) and 2x AAU All American (1970, 1971) on the United States National Team that won the Gold Medal at the 1971 Pan American Games. Over the last decade (2006 - present), I have competed internationally with my Master's Water Polo Team in Italy, Australia, Montreal, and Hungary.
