As a Permit to Work Digitisation and Support Engineer at ALTRAD, I build and support modern, data-driven workflows across the PTW landscape. I develop Microsoft Power Apps that record and track permit reviews, enabling real-time KPI reporting for the team and clear visibility of live permits and Work Authorisation Forms (WAFs) on site.I partner with stakeholders across operations, safety and permit control to ensure data is accurate, reliable and secure. Using Power BI, I deliver dashboards and insights that highlight performance, bottlenecks and compliance trends. With Power Automate and SharePoint, I orchestrate alerts, approvals and audit trails so actions don’t get missed.A key stream of work is digitalising the Hot Works process, moving it away from paper to an end-to-end electronic flow—from request and assessment through authorisation, handback and closure—improving traceability, consistency and speed.
