About William Griffin

My name is William Griffin and I have a BSc (Hons) Computer Forensics and Security: First Class Award from Leeds Beckett University. Having had an interest in computers for most of my life, I did Computer Science at GCSE Level and A Level. I was then inspired to go down a Cyber Security and Forensics route by one of my teachers.I have had an interest in programming for a while, starting out with Scratch when I was younger. I then used Python in school, Java in my first two years of university, and then learnt C# and.NET for my Advanced Software Engineering module. This has led me to create my first piece of software of my own creation for my Production Project (dissertation), combining a Windows Forms Application with HTML, CSS and JavaScript to display a map based on historical location data, that was processed with the C# code.I worked for a small start up company called Agency Leeds, developing Web APIs with netcore / C#.I currently work with Netcompany as an Infrastructure Consultant. I have worked on a few different confidential projects for critical UK infrastructure. These projects involved Microsoft Azure, New Relic, Entra (Active Directory), GitHub, Terraform, IIS, PowerShell, SharePoint, Remedy, and other skills.Over most of 2024, I have been using Power Platforms, particularly Power Apps.
