Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects of safety, within their area of responsibility. Directs the proper planning, budgeting and implementation of computer resources. Directs Electronic Specialists and Signalmen in their duties to ensure the safe and efficient operation. Responsible for all electronics and networks, along with satellites and remote connections to the network. •Manage for constant improvement in the safety of all signal personnel and equipment. •Conduct safety, FRA, and operating rules classes. •Coach, teach, and train employees. •Perform safety observations and tests on rules compliance. •Manage/schedule all signal manpower and equipment. •Ensure mainline territory is compliant with all Federal, State and Local regulations, as well as CSX Signal Rules and Instructions. •Review computer based records. •Develop/present technical training programs to further educate local work force. •Ensure non-compliant CSX assets are corrected by appropriate remedial action. •Approve and handles all material needs for area of responsibility. •Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by need. I have been a Supervisor & General Manager for 30 years. I have risen through the ranks. This enables me to communicate better with others since I have done these tasks myself throughout my career. I have held progressively more responsible positions within the construction management field. I have expertise in management, training, development, negotiation and budgeting. Outstanding communication, planning, and analytic skills. Earned respect with a proven ability to obtain high performance levels from employees while maintaining a pleasant working atmosphere.
