About William Holman

Soon after the SSAE 16 standard became effective, William came to Assure Professional to begin a new era of internal control engagements where he has been able to collaborate with other CPAs and IT professionals to create a seamless experience for clients. This was accomplished by utilizing the latest in technology and audit software. The combination of professional collaboration and new technology has allowed Assure Professional to provide world-class service and deliverables to clients while keeping cost below competitors. William came to work at Assure Professionals from a Florida-based SAS 70 provider. During his time in FL, William was involved in all aspects of the engagement process and was able to work with IT professionals to institutionalize a process for completing engagements efficiently while also exceeding client expectations. Prior to working primarily on internal control engagements, William was a member of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP (“CBH”), a regional public accounting firm, where he focused on performing financial statement audits and reviews. In addition to these services, William also worked in the transaction advisory group of CBH to provide due diligence and other transaction services to private equity, venture capital, and other similar groups. William received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an Accounting concentration from the University of Tennessee. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in North Carolina and also a Certified Information Technology Professional licensed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). William is a member of the AICPA as well as the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).
