About William Hood

I adapt and evolve with the lighting industry. My career began as a salesman in my family's retail chain of lighting stores. Later, I became a manufacturer’s representative and started my agency. The introduction of LEDs and the continuously advancing technology propelled me to start LED Lighting, Inc. in 2004. We were a pioneer in manufacturing linear LEDs to provide custom lighting for various OEMs.I was privileged to launch LLI Architectural Lighting partners with independent commercial representative agencies and architects, allowing them to create architecturally exciting designs with linear lighting and extrusions. We continue to be integral to architects' and designers’ unique creations. Regarding innovative products, in 10 years, UVC devices will be as ubiquitous as fire detectors, and having access to safe UV protection will be the norm in most businesses and facilities.I’m also honored to allow every team member to excel at their careers and come to work every day loving what they do. We build long-term relationships and partnerships, producing the products we know our customers need. We constantly build a high-energy, high-service-level culture tailored to our customers' needs. We continue to create strong relationships with new clients and those I began working with 40 years ago.
