About William Jiang

My name is William Jiang and I am a sophomore attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst, pursuing a dual degree in Environmental Science and Biochemistry. I am passionate about researching the world's ecosystems and wildlife, through which I aim to help provide people with a greater understanding of the environment. As a research assistant in the Baoshan Xing lab and in Environmental Conservation labs at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, I have developed skills such as particle size analysis, insect identification, and general laboratory techniques. I have also worked at a botanical garden and in customer service, where I gained valuable experience communicating and working with others, while also being adaptable to suit various roles. I hope to continue developing connections with people in a variety of fields, and to continue growing my understanding of the natural world.
