About William Kenton

A soon-to-be Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Engineering became my passion around my sophomore year in high school when I first witnessed the successful application of reusable rocket boosters by SpaceX. The engineering and human ingenuity that must've occurred to triumph over this incredibly large hurdle fascinated me. Ever since then, I have strived to apply that same dedication to my work and education. I graduated high school and Western Nevada College simultaneously and earned my Associate of Arts before entering UNLV. Since then, I have endeavored to sustain exceptional academic standing while working thirty hours a week and maintaining hobbies such as personal fitness, ballroom dancing, scuba diving, and learning Japanese among others. My efforts have resulted in my admission into the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi academic society and multiple positions on the UNLV Dean of Engineering's honor list, as well as being entrusted to multiple project leadership positions within my schooling. I am an extremely determined and driven individual with a passion for engineering and its applications. My current goal is to apply my knowledge gained through schooling to the mechanical engineering field, and afterward obtain my master's in engineering. Using this, I will be on my first steps towards obtaining my P.E. license.
