About William Kolean

William Kolean joined R/GA New York in 2010 with 14 years experience building digital experiences for the Wall Street Journal, Magazine Publishers of America and one of the web’s first social platforms, Fotolog. While at R/GA William has led technology teams in the creation of award-winning infographics, enterprise CMS platforms for web and mobile apps, and web integration with consumer hardware platforms. William has worked on many award winning accounts, including Google, MetLife, Nike, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), E*Trade, Goldman Sachs, Volvo and Verizon Wireless. Projects include building and localizing the Nike Digital Sport website that integrates with Nike sports hardware, building an API and CMS for PwC’s 365 iOS App for thought leadership, developing a component library for E*Trade’s consumer site, building a new international consumer site and CMS for Volvo Cars, developing a Financial Technology web app for Goldman Sachs that has become one of their most important web apps for new business, and building award-winning infographics for Goldman Sachs. Currently William leads a technology team embedded in Google Tokyo building backend and frontend systems for marketing and Google Play web sites.
