Currently, as a Business Development Associate at Local Staffing, I have the opportunity to help Ottawa local businesses find the skilled and unskilled labour they need to scale their operations without dedicating valuable salaried time to sorting, screening, and interviewing hundred of candidates just to move forward with a handful. Local Staffing is just that - Local! We focus on the Ottawa area because that's what we know best. How can an out of area staffing firm understand what's best for the candidate and the client when they don't understand the city itself. Not only that, but we have every candidate that we put forward come into our office to meet in-person. This way we get to know the candidate in a way that can't be done over Zoom or Teams, ensuring the best culture fit for both candidate and client.
