About William Luo

While at NVIDIA, I was primarily responsible for developing natural language processing technology and AI models. Over the past four years, I've led the team in translating complex research into real-world products, helping the company achieve a number of important results in AI technology and further solidifying NVIDIA's leadership position in the industry. I specialize in using Python and C++ and have extensive experience in deep learning, which has allowed us to make significant improvements in the accuracy of image and speech recognition. Meanwhile, as an angel investor at DCVC, I focus on backing startups that solve global problems through science and engineering. I've invested in projects across a wide range of sectors, including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and space technology. This job allows me to not only play a role in technology, but also to drive innovation through financial support and help startups achieve their goals. I carefully analyze industry trends when investing to ensure that the projects we support have both technical and commercial potential.
