About William Mah

I am a mid-level IT professional with over 10 years of IT experience and skills in the Managed Service provider industry. Have a proven track record working efficiently to meet deadlines and to improve documentation and processes. I am always looking to expand my skillset, explore new technology and improve my soft skills. I was a graduate of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and completed the Digital Media and IT course with a major in System Administration. I have developed skills in Active Directory Domain Services, Certificates Services, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, WSUS, RDS, DFS and many more Server roles and features. I have experience with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 as well as Windows Server 2003, 2008 R2 and 2012. I have also worked with Mac OSX and Linux Ubuntu. I have a passion for computers and technology as I started when I was 14 years old. Since then I have built several computers from scratch and have troubleshooted several different problems on a Windows system. I have a small background in programming as well and am able to create simple scripts. I am proficient with C++, C#, Java and Bash scripting. I also have passion for gaming, game design and analysis. I enjoy looking a game, seeing how it plays and figuring out how to improve it. I am also very willing to help other people out if I am able to solve their problems. I have personally aided several people with computer related problems, whether it be during class, work or for a friend.
