About William Manning

After completing my B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I began my professional career in retail sales eventually leading me into customer service and consultative outside sales at the distributor/wholesale level. Little did I know that these skills I learned as a history major would play such a major role in my career:>Research >Information collection & organization >Analysis & evaluation >Ability to quickly access information Using these skills and the age old history question,"compare and contrast", I have been able to assist clients in making informed decisions. I have also served as a ready reference for colleagues and their customers. OTHER SPECIALTIES Through the course of my career I have used my historical training as well as the following skills to make my customer's experience as easy and pleasant as possible!>Outstanding customer service skills >Listening ability >Project management >Problem identification & resolution >Needs assessment >Training & instruction MY NEXT CAREER STAGE. I am retired from sales & marketing but not done working. My retirement job is working at Pick n Save as a front end courtesy clerk, a position that I can apply my customer skills and hopefully be an example for my fellow employees. VOLUNTEER Church festival, lunch/playground supervision, head coach for city youth baseball league, line judge for elementary school volleyball, and political campaigns. Most recent was the 110th Harley Davidson Fest as a MDA volunteer.
