As the Systems Department Lead at Digital Domain, one of the world's leading visual effects studios, I report to the Director of Systems and oversee the IT operations and infrastructure for multiple projects, and locations. I manage a team of 21 system administrators and engineers, ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of the network, servers, storage, and workstations. I have a Bachelor of Technology degree from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, with a specialization in Networking and Security. I have over six years of experience in the VFX industry, working in various roles, such as systems department lead, systems engineer, systems administrator. I have contributed to the success of several award-winning films and shows, such as Avengers: Endgame, Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, and Star Wars: Ahsoka, by implementing and maintaining high-security computing environments, optimizing workflows, and resolving technical issues. I am passionate about technology and entertainment, and I always seek to learn new skills and tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of the IT services.
