About William Neely
I teach a course on Udemy.com called Adventures in Classical Music. This is a comprehensive history of classical music, following a musical timeline from the Middle Ages through the 21st century. I’d been teaching music appreciation at Santa Rosa Junior College for 16 years and about 9 years ago, I began to develop the course for online delivery—essentially in the form of video podcasts. The semester-length course required creating over 50 hours of video content. Since the initial creation of the videos, I have continuously improved the content—these days mostly in Final Cut Pro. It has been my life-long passion to be able to share my love for classical music with others.
