About William Neuwirth

Living with an awareness of the interconnectedness of life on Earth is the basis for my professional life. When I started my business in 1985 I knew humankind was changing the planet like never before, shaping a new Earth. I seek reintegration of human cultures with the cultures of other life around us. New Earthscape answered a research and education need for tourists and residents of northern New Mexico and Colorado. Incorporating my Mater of Science in Biology and 2 Bachelors degrees in World Religions and Psychology, my business engages regional and global scales. I’ve taken thousands of people through wilderness areas, design and facilitate nature programs, experiential education, leadership, and team building for many clients and institutions. Three applications combine into my single-minded goal:Through these years I’ve have designed ecological restoration projects ranging from many dozens of acres to small plots, installing various elements that may include erosion control, catchment systems, reclaimed-water systems, gardens, orchards, vineyards, rangeland, and forest as mixed habitats. My designs include multiple uses for wildlife, ranching, aesthetics, and conservation. For 25 years college level education has been another part of my professional portfolio. Biology, Ecology, Math, Environmental Science, Outdoor Education Leadership, and Sustainability are but a few of the subjects I instruct. Conducting and understanding ecological research is a life long interest.
