I currently work in the field of repairing and refurbishing kitchen and Laundry appliances. Only experienced with GE, Frigidaire, and whirlpool brands. I am responsible for testing scratch and dent appliances before sending to sales floor. Such duties include disassemble and reassemble of appliances, replacement of body and internal parts, body work, simple diagnostics of appliance performance issues, and touch up and or repairing of blemishes on or inside appliances. My skills have been trained by store owners who have been in the field for decades. I do not however posses or have access to a diagnostic computer tool. When needed I set up service calls on appliances that need a more professional diognostics to a service tech. I have replaced circuit boards, ui circuit boards, touch display circuit boards,wire harnesses, pumps, burners, knob controls, range tops, doors, control panels, switches, and many body and internal parts. Appliances that have been repaired and or new parts installed must be retested to assure proper function before sending to sales floor for sale. I have done gas to propane conversions on ranges and dryers. I work mostly in the shop on my own and will work with others when work load is sometimes increased and needed to be completed before a deadline.
