Background

About William Otto

I am currently a sophomore at the University of Toledo pursuing a degree in Finance, with a focus on investments and portfolio management, along with a minor in Accounting to strengthen my foundation in financial analysis and reporting. I’m particularly interested in developing comprehensive wealth management and investment strategies that, in turn, help clients achieve long-term financial goals. I’m drawn to the combination of analytical decision-making and client-focused problem solving, and I enjoy exploring how portfolio construction, risk management, and market insights come together to drive performance. This interest has led me to actively seek hands-on experience, including my upcoming role as an Internal Auditor Intern at AgCredit, ACA, where I look forward to building a deeper understanding of financial systems, risk controls, and real-world business operations. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue the CFA designation to build a career in investment management, equity research, or wealth management, with a focus on delivering thoughtful, disciplined strategies for clients to make a meaningful impact through finance.
