Background
About William Patrick Armstrong
Inspired by information and current events, I create work exhibiting complex associations within the boundaries of self confidence and antipathy. I construct alternate definitions within traditional etymological frameworks, focusing on the destructive perfection inherent in today's global Capitalist culture. Various media and informational fragments from personal experience, observation, and anonymous online sources are used and integrated into new, visually poetic compositions which speak to themes of loss, violence, identity, and disenfranchisement.
