Background

About William Peterson

I have been working in education for over 15 years. I began as an behavior aide for Lindsay Unified. I invested time in the Special Education department. After seven years working in the department of special education, I transitioned into a curriculum position service provider. I taught mathematics and assisted with English instruction within my own class setting. I returned to Special education after one year and have delivered supports as an instruction assistant. Since the transition back into Special Education, I have graduated college with a bachelors degree in honors, a masters degree and credential through National University in special education. My current occupation is an Education Specialist in Visalia Unified School District. The different experiences over several years has helped me acquire knowledge in various capacities, enhance my skillsets and support students at the elementary level, as well as secondary levels such as middle school and high school. I look forward to pursuing my Administration credential in organizational leadership and continuing to grow in the field of education.
