About William Pierce

Hard work, driving execution and teamwork are three core pillars that influence me daily at work and in my personal life. Currently in my role as Director, Product Management at BNY Pershing I work to develop and continually enhance our managed account solutions to support our clients. Throughout my 13-year tenure with BNY Pershing, I’ve worked to put the needs of our clients first by working with our clients to build a platform experience that meets their unique needs. Partnering with clients to help drive their business growth is rewarding and what I enjoy most. I've spent the last 23-years of my career in the financial industry. In the first half of my career I worked in a variety of different operations and trading roles. These roles were instrumental in building my knowledge in managed accounts and the advisory industry. I learned everything from investment products, to technology and operational processes and used that to implement new solutions to help clients. That foundational knowledge has helped me guide BNY Pershing clients, since 2011, through the transition process, while providing them with the confidence and trust of our tools and service. It also helped me to refine internal processes that helped to create scale and reduce implementation timelines for new client onboarding. I’m passionate about coaching others, whether it’s my collogues, our clients or a friend/peer. My goal is to help them think differently, always have a plan and no matter what, work hard to reach their goal(s). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, coaching my two son's baseball and basketball teams, golfing and attending sporting events whenever possible. I am a passionate fan of Villanova basketball, Penn State Football and the Philadelphia Phillies and I try to attend as many games as possible.
