About William Pizzano

Human interaction makes life worth living, the sharing of thoughts, feelings, and developing relationships that can last a lifetime. One of my passions is using my charisma to impact & help people in the best way possible. Having a positive outlook on the future of your undertakings is important, but having faith in your team is paramount for success. Thus, whether it be a colleague, friend, or mentor; building smiles and healthy bonds makes for a happier existence on this earth. Presently, I am in the customer service industry; I have been learning the ins and outs of restaurants since I was fourteen years old. Though many consider waitering not an actual career choice, the things I have learned from serving tables are priceless. At a very young age I moved up from being a bus person to a server at a very high-end restaurant. Though I was nervous to start something I had never done before, I put faith in myself; and it ended up shaping my next ten years. I consider the things I have learned working in restaurants important because it has given me a whole new perspective of what it takes to deal with human beings. I have learned that it takes much patience, knowledge, ambition, and being proactive to greatly excel. Granted, every single person is different; has their ego, complexities, and personality traits, thus, learning how to impress everyone is a difficult task, but it can be done. In the mists of holding a full-time job, I have been completing my education. I received my associate’s degree of general science from Atlantic Cape Community College. I am attending Rutgers University where I will receive my bachelor’s of healthcare administration in spring 2020. I strive to take what I have learned about dealing with people and take it to a vastly different occupation. My family is in the medical industry, and I wish to follow in their footsteps. Precisely, I want to be a healthcare practice manager. I have the hunger to be the person influencing company decisions, guiding & leading the team, and using my charisma to make incredible profits. The healthcare industry is at its crossroads, moving away from the “gets heads in the beds” mentality, and converting to quality service instead. I understand how to give all individuals a genuine experience, and salute to the importance of paying attention to the details. All in all, despite the particular career path, one thing is certain; people just want to be acknowledged, respected, and taken care of. I am hoping to make a substantial and much needed influence on the healthcare industry.
