Senior financial director with broad experience of all aspects of strategic planning, operational financial management, IT implementation, general accounting and acquistions. Worked in UK, Europe and USA with companies ranging from £2m to £2bn in sales. Now working as a Principal with the FD Centre supporting a small number of ambitious businesses. These include companies in the software, defence and pharmaceutical sectors. Also curently hold a role as an honorary treasurer within the charity sector. Other sector experience includes IT hardware; consulting; distribution; retail and manufacturing. The FD Centre (FDC) is the UK's largest provider of Financial Directors on a flexible basis with close to 100 FD's nationwide. We work with our clients on a part time but ongoing basis. We add value by combining a strategic and commercial approach with focus on key financial and operational drivers. Specialties: Bringing order to chaos! Using a "yogi bear" approach to financial and management reporting and business planning. Working closely with management teams and at all levels within an organisation to grow revenues and profits and get them to smile as well. Understand how to work globally; divisional or within standalone businesses Have managed both small and large finance organisations (800+) and cross-functional project teams.
