About William Roesner

I am a higher education leader focused on advancing academic affairs, faculty operations, and institutional effectiveness through thoughtful strategy and sustainable systems. In my current role as Director of Academic Operations, I built and scaled a centralized Academic Operations function supporting over 400 faculty. My work sits at the intersection of faculty affairs, academic strategy, and operational execution, ensuring that institutions not only run effectively, but make high-quality, mission-driven decisions.I have led the development of faculty evaluation frameworks, including the CORE Faculty Program, which has supported 85% of faculty in meeting or exceeding expectations. I also created Professional Residency Weekends to enhance experiential learning and align programming with institutional outcomes. My work extends to accreditation and institutional strategy, including direct involvement with WSCUC reporting, site visits, and conference presentations. I regularly partner with executive leadership, including the VPAA and Academic Leadership Council, to support faculty policy, academic planning, and institutional initiatives.I am particularly interested in roles within Academic Affairs where I can contribute to strategy, leadership, and long-term institutional quality, especially in environments that value thoughtful decision-making, strong systems, and mission alignment.Open to Director and Associate Director opportunities in Academic Affairs, Faculty Affairs, and Institutional Effectiveness.
