About William Rose

Please see my website, My life is a quest for growth, creativity and contribution. I've lived and worked on the west and east coasts of the United States, and in France, Switzerland and Czechia. I speak French, German and Czech, and have moderate familiarity with Spanish and Italian. I am eager to direct my expertise and skill as a writer and editor to the service of others: writers, businesses and organizations in need of clean, sharp professional editing, developmental consultation, engaging copy or content writing, meticulous proofreading, or general fine-tuning of voice, style and presentation. I am especially drawn to support writers of fiction and creative non-fiction, and progressive organizations working on behalf of the environment, animals, and underprivileged humanity. Since starting my teaching career in 1984 at the Swiss international school École d'Humanité, I have taught English and Creative Writing in business and professional settings, and in American public high schools. I now teach French and direct the theater program at The Attic Learning Community in Woodinville, WA. Many years of collaboration and teamwork have honed my interpersonal skills; I am also an independent self-starter able to work to deadline with professional standards.
