Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, Nevada and Colombia with a broad knowledge in design, construction and engineering project management. Project Management Professional certified. William has distinguished himself as a highly skilled professional in the management and design of transportation and construction projects with 29 years of extensive experience, including 19 years in North America William has a long history over his career of leading major multi-disciplinary teams. His expertise extends to diverse areas such as highways, freeways, BRT, LRT, and municipal roads in conventional and Public Private Partnership format projects. During his career, William has consistently fostered collaboration with diverse stakeholders, acquiring and sharing extensive knowledge of private utility guidelines and environmental regulations tailored to specific project sites. Notably, his participation in the geometric design committee at the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) has enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of federal regulations pertaining to highway project design. In doing so, he actively promotes the association's mandate to create safer and more efficient transportation systems that benefit all Canadians. William's design work encompasses all aspects of highway and municipal infrastructure, including Class Environmental Assessments, roadway design, drainage systems, roadside protection, utility coordination, drafting, and contract documentation. He possesses a strong understanding of relevant legislation and their specific applicability, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as applicable codes and standards. He had successfully delivered high quality designs within tight schedules. William has held managerial positions of considerable responsibility where he oversaw a sizable team of engineers and technicians.
