About William Shea

William Shea is an experienced editor with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing industry. A highly motivated, competent, creative, ambitious, and performance-driven professional with over 10 years of experience as an Editor. A strong record of achievement in providing the necessary expertise to ensure streamlined operations, significantly increased accuracy, proficiency and profitability. Shea has an educational background in English professional writing, publishing, with a minor in journalism from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Currently, he is studying copy editing at the University of California San Diego. Shea began his career as a professional photographer and later switched career paths after realizing he had strong interests in publishing. After returning to school at UNLV to pursue his passion for professional writing and journalism, Shea began working on new projects that focused on improving the awareness of arts and culture in Las Vegas. In 2012, Shea created and co-authored a photographic collection of street art titled, Fade to Gray. The book was later re-designed in 2018 and released as Street Art Las Vegas.
