About William Smith

I have seven years of experience researching novel deep learning solutions to computer vision problems which makes me well suited to a research scientist or engineer role, particularly in autonomous navigation. I am very familiar with academic research, but during my PhD also accumulated industrial research experience in a multinational company in a different field to that of my PhD, which demonstrates that I have the skills and experience to quickly familiarise myself with and perform independent research in a wide variety of other machine learning and deep learning problems. My recent peer-reviewed publication in a well-regarded conference further shows that I am able to produce and communicate research to a high standard.
