Background

About William Sousa

From the early years of leading group work, teaching math and analyzing charts, I knew I had a natural talent for observing, interpreting, deciding and communicating. This is why I built a career around Project Management and Data Science. Now, I have over 15 years of experience, specializing in project management for international companies in multiple industries. Using both traditional and agile practices, I helped deliver 40+ projects that created value and revenue for customer teams and organizations. As a T-shaped professional with a multidisciplinary interest, I also seek to leverage Business Analytics and data knowledge to build successful and high-performance services and products. My experience has allowed me to exercise and balance strong technical proficiency with key soft skills, such as leadership by example and problem-solving. This blend has led me to achieve outstanding results, nevertheless, the most rewarding ones always came from valuing people first and foremost. This is my guiding principle and, after goals are met, there is no greater reward than earning the trust and respect of the people we work with.
