I am an experienced Tug Boat Captain of more than 33 years at Sea, and currently hold a 200GT Master NC. License, MMC With an AB Unlimited, & STCW Compliance. And, Apprentice Mate Steersman for MOTV. TWIC, & Passport. I have held a 1600GT Master NC License for several renewals, & worked as Mate & Captain on Tugs. My 1600GT license expired, but I have a letter to Test to reinstate It upon completion of exams. I also hold a Class A CDL, with Hazmat, Doubles & Triples, endorsement, & over Two Million miles driven, as the Owner/Operator of my own Antique & Exotic Car Transport Co. I have experience with most all types of Tug Boat work. Including, Both Single, & Twin Screw, Domestic and International, Inland, and Offshore Towing/Pushing of Oil barges, Deck barges, Dump scows, Hazmat, Ship Assist/Harbor Work, Dead Ship Towing, Cable Laying Operations, and Dredging. I have Tug experience in NY Harbor, & the surrounding area, the US East Coast, Ports and Harbors from Canada, to the Carribean. Cape Cod, & C&D Canals. Chesapeake Bay, & Delaware River. The Great Lakes, Gulf of Mexico, & Pacific Coast! I have proficiency with both single and twin screw vessels. with Flanking rudders, and Cort Nozzles. I have experience operating, a Marine Travel lift, lifting barge hatch covers, and stacking them on the ends of the barge. Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Small Cranes, Diesel Generators, Hydraulic Pumps, and Water/Fire Pumps. Work Boats, Fast Rescue Boats. Tractor Trailers, including Dry Van, Flat Bed, Low Boy, Car Hauler, Dump Trailer, Double/Triple Tankers, I have been a Local Union Member for many years.
