UK Professionally, I'm incredibly passionate about the aviation and aerospace/defence sectors and how these are impacted by government policies. Strategic planning and business development is my trade, which I have honed over nearly a decade at a consulting firm. It has been my role to target and capture new business opportunities, as well as lead and manage assignments in new business development and turnaround, strategic partnership building, project management, and market and regional analysis for clients from the commercial and defence sectors of the aviation and aerospace industries in Canada and the US. I am currently seeking to build upon these experiences by increasing my involvement in the aviation industry (heavy maintenance - commercial engines, avionics, components) and the aerospace and defense sector (C4, ISR, UAV/UAS/UUV, TCDL, SATCOM, and other systems and platforms that enhance situational awareness and extended range and low observable operations). I am also seeking to expand my role in government relations by liaising with the US, Canadian, and European allied governments to support acquisition processes and positively impact procurement proposals. Academically, I acquired a Master’s degree in International Relations several years ago, however I still remain enthusiastic and in tune with the relevant geopolitical theories shaping the strategic interests of US, Canadian, and British foreign policy and the tangible ramifications on their respective forward force projection capabilities. Personally, I'm driven by developing methods to better compete upon the world stage and in the marketplace.
