About William T. Kellum
During high school, my professional life was molded by two things: football and cutting grass. While like many I owe my work ethic and leadership skills to football, my management skills were built first-hand by running a business. I owned and operated a landscaping company, which serviced over 65 clients in the Jefferson, GA area. Through the Future Farmers of America program (the FFA), my business won the National Landscape Management award and finished top-four in the National American Star Award. After high school, I planned to get a degree in business managment to help grow my business. However, after a few talks with the dean of Engineering and a lot of prayer, I decided to pursue a career in engineering. The reason? While working in landscaping, my hard work was overtime either over grown or washed away. I want the work I do to stand for generations to see. I want my work to be a legacy.
