I have developed a BLINK ability to sum up very quickly the issues affecting my clients events. Having run several large event departments and having consulted for over 20 event businesses, my experience had fused with an innovative approach to events. Often the simple answers escape the internal team. I am able to spot and to highlight the solutions to improve events. Working closely with the team I get to know the culture of the organisations to make sure that the solutions and recommendations stick and ultimately improve my clients events. After graduating from University I set up an event management company organising student graduation balls. As an events consultant I have worked with (among others): AO Foundation The Association of Corporate Treasurers The Association of Project Safety The British Dietetic Association The Concerto Group CFA Institute The Design Business Association The European Wind Energy Association Reed Exhibitions Sage Publishers After setting up an exhibition department for a commercial conferences company in 2003, I successfully re-engineered the events departments at two of the UK’s largest financial services trade associations and Europe’s largest professional membership organisation. I also have experience in the commercial events world having worked for Spearhead exhibitions and Event X. I have organised over 700 events in the UK and abroad. I am a recognised events industry speaker and I have spoken at events all over the World. I am a very active member of the #eventprofs community and I blog regularly on all and every aspect in events. I am a published author. Specialities: I help organisations make the most of their events. My clients have included trade associations, membership bodies, commercial events companies and large multinational organisations.
