About William Twisdale

In my career with the Army National Guard, I have specialized in administrative and legal tasks- I completed six months of Army training before working as a Human Resource Specialist (HRS). During my time as an HRS, I assisted with the process of personnel evaluations, correspondence, military service record reviews, and maintained personnel files- I also assisted in the logistical operations of my assigned unit, which included palette packing, palette stacking, inventory checking, and tracking-For two years, I performed an integral task for unit training. I operated software designed to manage the training of personnel, build training schedules, and submit them to a higher authority for approval- In March 2014, I completed the U.S. Army Paralegal Advance Individual Training Program, which qualified me to operate as legal support personnel to Army units and personnel. In April 2014, I was promoted into a leadership position and began my current career as a Paralegal NCO- During my 2015 annual training period, I ran the personnel section for my battalion (and was provided assistance and support by my command and battalion staff as well as brigade staff). I also provided legal support to personnel that sought it- I currently work as Human Resources Noncommissioned Officer, providing administrative support to my unit and customer service to my fellow servicemen and servicewomen in maintaining their personnel record, to include actioning requests and routinely updating their files. I also educate them on documents and how the impact of such documents (personnel and legal) when it comes to their career. I review awards and assist service-members with aggregating their documents for promotions snd retirements. I network with fellow Human Resources Specialists in order to achieve mission accomplishment. As a Conciliator, I reviewed 60-75 cases daily for errors and contacted parties to maintain data integrity, file completeness, and meet regulatory requirements. I worked alongside and with parties to resolve their cases. I engaged in multiple projects, to include- Customer Satisfaction Survey Analysis and Corrective Action Team (engaged in data collection, aggregation, and analysis; suggested ideas, and presented findings to executive staff)- The American Arbitration Association-Montclair State University Internship Partnership (engaged in dialogue with school to establish a partnership to provide students with a paid internship opportunity to experience the ADR world in the leading ADR company)- Internal procedures
