Mr. Weitz is an experienced electronics engineering technician in research and development of electronic and mechanical prototype and product design and fabrication. He possesses full theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics (analog and digital). He is skilled in multiple soldering and assembly techniques, capable of diagnosing success or failure of design and making necessary modifications. He reads, designs and develops schematics and printed circuit board layouts and fabrications. He performs diagnostic repair of electronics devices to component level using various test equipment (e.g, DMMs, VOMs, analog and digital oscilloscopes, frequency counters, hi-pot testers, bench power supplies, spectrum analyzers, magnetometers and custom test setups). He performs mechanical design to create or modify product components. He is skilled in basic machining using typical machine shop equipment. He has cumulative experience using creative, unconventional means to solve design problems and a working knowledge of AutoCAD, Altium and Microsoft Office products.
