About William Whittaker

Hello, my name is Will Whittaker and I've been working in the IT field for about 12 years. I like to joke that my main hobby is collecting hobbies in general, but my go to is playing board games and various other tabletop games with my family and friends My favorite thing to point out about myself is that I never fail, but rather I find new and creative albeit sometimes unconventional ways to solve my problems. The best example is how at 8 years old I took apart my "broken" Nintendo and then "Un-broke" it, because while it worked afterwards, fixed isn't quite the right word to describe things. I think that combined with my never-ending curiosity has led to a lifelong adventure in the IT field. Though I feel I would be remiss to not point out that thanks to all the skills I've picked up over the years I have become much better at putting things back together. In fact, I would go as far to say that literally and metaphorically taking things apart and putting them back together has become a rather prosperous career for me. A career in fact that allows my insatiable curiosity to continuously keep growing because it never slows down. So I tend to match pace and keep following. I learn by doing and I have people that can vouch for me when I say in new situations I take a brief period to get my bearings, and then take off full speed, best approach to anything is hands on learning and gaining field experience.
