Background
About William Wiard
My name is Will Wiard, and I am currently a senior at Florida Atlantic University majoring in Ocean Engineering. I am seeking work in the areas of Ocean Engineering, Systems Engineering, Naval Engineering, and Naval Architecture. I currently work at Florida Atlantic University’s SeaTech Campus in the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Lab, as this is where my current research interest lay. I enjoy approaching problems from a systems engineering stand point, and determining how to make the mechanical, electrical, and software sides of the system work together. I routinely find myself in leadership positions within the teams that I work on. I have taken great interest into the area of leadership as well as taken classes on the matter. I love being able to take a team that approach a problem from different perspectives and have them work towards a common goal.
