I am currently serving as the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford/Stanford Children's Health. I am a Global Healthcare CIO with over 30 years of experience as a member of senior leadership teams. Over my career, I’ve provided results-driven leadership as the CIO for many multi-site health systems. I also have an extensive background managing operational departments, such as health information management, centralized patient scheduling, surgery scheduling, patient registration/admission services, patient accounting, payroll, and human resources. Using in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations and clinical workflows, I provide value by improving organizational performance and streamlining medical staff workflows. I also have a record of leveraging business and technology expertise to improve user satisfaction scores, align IT strategic planning with organizational business objectives, rationalize budgeting processes for operating and capital budgets, optimize financial initiatives, and address clinical enhancements to improve patient safety and outcomes. I am a member of HIMSS, a member of CHIME, and have been active in state and regional initiatives across the United States. I hold a comprehensive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma.
