About Willie Wang

I am a driven scientist with 10+ years research experience in biotech industry, who was involved in diverse of antibody drug development projects, including ADC, bispecific antibody, immunotherapy and targeting nanoparticle. As a scientist, I am specialized in protein expression, bioconjugation, purification, and characterization using wide variety of instruments and techniques. Strength including method development, troubleshooting, protocol optimization, developing efficient work flow with collaboration teams. Most recently, as a scientist of Protein Engineering group at Kenjockety, I oversaw all purification and biophysical analysis operations, from acquiring instruments to developing methods and writing SOPs. As a scientist of Biophysics department at Pfizer, I achieved significant antibody screening time reductions, optimized and developed new analytical methods, and produced labelled antibodies to support FACS projects. I was project leader/researcher at Taiwan Liposome Company and brought over 9 years of protein science experience to assist the company in immunoliposome development. In this role, I not only designed product development strategy but also oversaw several collaborations with academics and international companies. Previously, I was senior research associate at Sutro Biopharma, where he purified and characterized hundreds of antibody candidates for ADC and bispecific antibody pipeline. Before Sutro Biopharma, I was researcher at Merit biotech in Taiwan, where I developed mid-scale interferon production process for animal food supplements. For his first job, I was research associate at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, where I resolved product quality issue and developed protein purification method for several allergens.
