About Willow Peck

I first started out with computers in high school, having my senior year working in a technical center, studying computer networking systems, operating systems, hardware and software. During this time, we also worked with a local Maine organization, Grahamtatic Connection, who provides free iPads, internet access, laptops, and robots to seriously ill children for educational purposes. We helped repair and maintain the laptops and iPads, which were donated to the cause. At the end of this course, I was awarded a TestOut PC Pro certificate. Getting to work hands on with the hardware and learning the basics of computers, I found myself intrigued and wanting to learn more. I took a year after high school to save up some money and travel to Canada, where I studied at Algonquin for two years, while simultaneously working as a Shift Supervisor at the college's Starbucks. While studying in Canada, I was able to acquire new skills, such as working with Linux distributions, Windows 10, Windows Server 2016, Active Directory, PowerShhell, DNS, DHCP, Cisco Routers and Switches, Microsoft Azure, Virtualization, Remote Desktop, Network Analysis & Monitoring, Incident Response Handling, Aruba Wireless Technologies, 802.11 Wireless Protocol, WLAN, Wi-Fi authentication, Enterprise Networking, and much more.
