Registered Nurse (RN) with over twenty-five years’ experience in ambulatory primary care medicine, including clinic management and Population Health. Currently serving as a Clinical Education Specialist at Central Texas' largest FQHC-CommUnity Care. Also, lead the change from volume to value-based care at Austin Regional Clinic, the largest muti-specialty group practice in Central Texas. Directed the clinical programs in ARC's Population Health and Clinical Quality Department including Nurse Navigation, Burden of Illness (BOI) coding, and Patient Outreach. Built programs to support high risk patients through embedded case management and transitions of care. Featured in several diabetes management videos on Web MD (see links section below). Board Certified in Case Management (CCM), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) and a member of the Association for Nursing Professional Development (ANPD), National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), and the American Nurses Association (ANA).
