About Winston Steele

As an Electrical Engineering graduate from Northern Arizona University (NAU) with a minor in Computer Science, I have a strong foundation in both hardware and software, with a focus on energy systems and computer engineering projects. During my academic journey, I worked as a grader and Teaching Assistant for C programming courses, where I helped students grasp complex concepts and improve their coding skills. I also led my team to victory in the 2024 Hydropower Collegiate Competition, where I was the team lead for the Electrical Engineering department, applying innovative solutions to real-world energy challenges. Currently, I am a Systems Engineer at Honeywell, specializing in radiation effects in space and defense technologies. In this role, I am responsible for ensuring the performance and reliability of advanced aerospace and defense systems, applying my expertise in electrical engineering, computer science, and radiation effects to solve complex technical challenges. I am passionate about leveraging my skills to contribute to cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of technology and sustainability. Always eager to learn and grow, I am excited about the opportunities to make an impact in the aerospace, defense, and energy sectors.
