About Winter Wilson

I help climate innovators tell their stories, reach the right people, and grow their impact. I’m a climate tech storyteller and ecosystem builder focused on accelerating early-stage innovation. At Joules Accelerator, I lead marketing, brand strategy, and founder support, helping startups grow their visibility, connect with strategic partners, and tell the story of their impact. With a background in journalism, environmental management, and climate entrepreneurship, I bring a cross-disciplinary lens to communications, community engagement, and startup strategy. I’ve worked across the climate tech landscape — from co-founding a climate venture at Yale, to supporting dozens of early-stage grid-edge startups at Joules. My approach combines strategy, empathy, and a deep understanding of the messy middle of startup growth. I believe early-stage climate innovators need more than amplification: they need a thought partner who can translate complexity, spark connection, and scale impact. I hold a Master of Environmental Management from Yale and dual undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Environmental Studies from Ohio University, with a minor in French.
