Over 16 years experience in several procurement and logistics positions while working for global organizations in the chemical and transportation industry as well as in consulting. As a consultant passionate about technology-enabled, human-led procurement transformations, I excel in driving impactful change across organizations. With a proven track record in sourcing and procurement, I specialize in maturity assessments, spend and supplier management, and the development of leading procurement organizations. In recent years, I've spearheaded several global procurement transformation programs, guiding them from initial business case development through to comprehensive road map execution. My expertise extends to setting up and implementing Global Business Services (GBS) and Shared Services Centers (SSC), ensuring seamless end-to-end implementation and successful go-live phases. I am committed to leveraging technology to enhance procurement processes while maintaining a human-centric approach, ensuring that organizations not only meet their strategic goals but also foster sustainable and adaptable procurement practices. In my earlier roles as a procurement line manager I've build up and successfully implemented sourcing strategies for commodity categories with a spend of more than 400m € p.a. across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The major pillars were complexity reduction, avoid cost increases and ensure supply.
