About Wolf Kunisch

With more than 20 years’ industry experience in the financial services industry, my expertise spans many aspects of payments, with a special interest in strategy and European payment regulations. Since joining Atos in I have been part of developing Worldline as it is today, from being a collection of payment activities inside an IT services company to becoming the leading payments company in Europe. In 2016, I became deputy CEO of equensWorldline where I was involved in all aspects of creating a truly pan-European organization in a regulated environment. IN 2020 I was appointed as the Head of Group Strategy, Public & Regulatory Affairs. My role was to identify, analyse and evaluate new trends and developments in the payments area and to formulate the impact and proposed course of action for the company. Furthermore we developed the group's positions, ideas and proposals and to put them before representative bodies of our regulators and other relevant public institutions. Since April 2024, I am active as a senior advisor, supporting financial institutions, investors and IT companies to develop and implement strategies to improve their performance in the payment ecosystem. • General management experience with P&L of 800m€ • Responsibility for a team of 12 direct reports and ~3500 FTE • European responsibility with teams in more than 10 countries (Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, …)
