About Wolf Lang

I’m a game developer, event organizer, and digital visionary with a passion for building experiences that connect people through play and creativity. My journey started as a co-founder of THREAKS in 2009, where we developed the internationally awarded music-action game Beatbuddy. But my work has long since expanded beyond game development. With the Indie Arena Booth at gamescom – now one of the world’s largest shared spaces for indie developers – I helped create a platform that celebrates diversity in game creation. During the pandemic, I led the transformation of the concept into a fully digital format with my team at Super Crowd Entertainment. As co-founder and visionary of the Polaris Convention in Hamburg, I build bridges between gaming, pop culture, and community-driven experiences. With our in-house developed OMNI event app, we’re redefining how people engage with events through gamification. I’m also proud to have served as a jury member for the German Video Game Awards, which I’ve been honored to win multiple times with my own projects. My goal is to keep pushing the boundaries between creativity, technology, and community – and to shape a more connected, playable future.
